[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a Pyromorphite floater from the Les Farges Mine, Ussel, Corrèze, Limousin, France. The color and crystal forms from this mine are quite famous.

Pyromorphite (Pb5(PO4)3Cl) is found in many localities around the world. Most notable are China and Idaho, USA.

The Les Farges Mine is now closed. This is the finest specimen from that locality I have ever seen. It measures 4 x 3 x 2.5 cm

Hi David,

Wow, incredible ... Am I REALLY the first one to give you points for that stunning shot ?!
I love that piece, of course, I know what it is, and where it is from, because I'm French.
The light is perfect, there's just a little shadow in the bachground (I'll try a workshop), but I think the frame is too small for the piece... If you had kept some more pixels at the top and at the bottom, this would have been better.
Whatever, thanks for sharing such wonderfull pictures, and keep loving your pyro !

Emma
