A beautiful late fall colored photo with a beautiful colored tree and stunning light. Great work on the composition, but it might need a little tilt to the left, since the horizon isn't running straight.

Before I continue I’d like to say thanks for all the good wishes for the New Year. May you and your loved ones experience all the joy & happiness, good health & strength, as well as prosperity & fortune in 2007. And of course some good light on your photographs.

This is a fine shot of the autumn scene. The lovely fall colours lend a rich tone to the photo. The details were well captured through the appropriate DOF, and the exposure was spot-on. I like how the fence leads the eye into the frame to discover all the other beautiful subjects in the photo.

I think there are some really nice elements in this composition, Gerard: the fence and the wheel ruts leading deep into the scene, and the great fall colors. I tried an alternate crop in a workshop to minimize the buildings (?) in the background.
