Very nice close up - very good colours, contrast and sharpness, congratulations - remembers more Centaurea cyanus than Centaurea montana. TFS Hans
Hello Gerard,
A very bright and sharp capture of the cornflower. I like how it is possible to clearly see the pinky/purple centre.
When you are presenting your shots, it is usually better to have your main image off-centre. Imagine your frame in thirds and aim to have the image's centre on one of those lines. This will definitely improve its impact!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Ciao Gerard, splendid macro of superb centaurea with wonderful colors, great sharpness and perfect focus, very well done, ciao Silvio
