Bonjour,

C'est une colonie de champignons bien à l'abri dans le creux d'un tronc d'arbre... de la forêt de Madine...

Photo prise avec un objectif 105 macro, durée d'exposition 25 secondes.

Hi Liliane.
This is always a very hard image to get when trying to peer through branches of foliage to get what we want to get. You have managed quite well to show us this fungus in it's environment of the hollow tree trunk, there is heaps in there. A good exposure to show us detail and colour of the fungus, as I would imagine it would have been very much in the shadows, so well done. Slightly soft in focus, have you done a slight sharpen, that could help.
For me, my preference would be to crop off the left a bit for the distracting thick grey branch, the eye keeps going to it.
Wonderful environmental shot showing where this fungi is growing, it is amazing where they pop up at times.

Kathleen

Bonjour Liliane,
Very interesting scene. Would be good to see it as an anaglyphe image, too. I found the colours a bit too cool - just did WS, have a look, please. But I give maximum points, because I like this photo, nevertheless Kathleen's right about there's too much of the environment on the left side.

As ID, this is Coprinus disseminatus. Thanks for sharing. Regards, László
