The panther is considered as the most intelligent of the wild big cats. The Leopard (panther of Africa) is a rather night-, safe hunter if it lives in a closed environment where he will enough feel safe to go hunting in broad daylight.
Its favourite preys are Impalas, diverse sorts of gazelles or Cobes. According to the availability, he can also shoot to preys smaller as rodents or monkeys as Baboons. If itlives near the human houses, he can attack the herds.

Bonjour Cliff,magnifique cette panthère mais je trouve juste dommage que le cadre soit si serré(c'est juste mon avis).Quoiqu'il en soit c'est une très belle photo,bravo

salut le troyen
tu as ramené de belles photos de la region lorraine comme ce leopard tres feroce et a l'affut!
en ouvrant les yeux ici aussi il y a de belle chose,j'en ai chez moi alors a 40 bornes la faune doit etre la même.

leopard et jaguar sont deux pantheres.
Celle ci m'a plus l'air d'un jaguar:
- construction plus robuste
- tache dans les rosettes (typiques du jaguar et exceptionelles chez la panthere)
