Hello Laurent,

Welcome on this wonderful site of TN.
It's absolutely not easy for make lovely close-up of birds.
I'm own no great specialist, but I shall try you give a few suggestions.
Make your picture 800x600
Work with your camera F/7 - 1/500
But you get of my your first points, I give two points this for your great effort.

Laurent, nice capture - well composed. when using such a low f stop and telephoto - you create a very narrow depth of field for the camera to focus in - yes it speeds up the shutter time, but if you are a fraction out on your focus it will appear out of focus (or part of the bird is in focus and part out of focus). try a larger f stop and a slower shutter speed :)
