Hi Robi. I like the pose you have in this one with the dragonfly looking at you . You have good colours . good detail in the head and top end of the body . if you had gone for a f8 or more all the body may have stayed in focus. all said a good shot of this insect. well done TFS.

A fine capture of this rare drangonfly, L. fulva with excellent POV and composition with the nice wing position. Good sharpness against a neutral natural OOF BG and superb lighting.

Hi Robi,
I have seen many dragonfly pictures on TN, but I think this is one of the best: it's in full sunlight and looked at from your chosen perspective it seems to be flying. The transparency of the wings is sensational. Very well done, Robi! I make it a favorite picture of mine.

that Scarce Chaser is shown from a perfect angle with very well managed depth of field and perfectly placed focus on eyes, legs, and the closer pair of wings. This way you are demonstrating the insect's fragility and transpareny, and its volatile resting position in a masterly way.

Excellent pictorial scene and wonderful image of the beautiful dragonfly. I like great lighting, impressive rich colours, perfect POV and composition. I am amazed with terrific details of the insect. May be I would prefer ISO 400 and a bit smaller aperture value but it is matter of taste. Bravo. Well done and TFS.
