I like so much the dark backgroud that really stand out the bright blue of the butterfly, as well as the flowers.

I admire the saturated colors in this shot. Sharpness and exposure are good. The butterfly is quite beautiful.I do find the composition a bit disjointed. Because the flash has caused all of the background to appear black, the one yellow partial flower is a bit distracting... to me... and maybe only to me : ) I tried an alternate version. I'll post it tomorrow if you'd like.

THis is a lovely composition showing the Blue Argus in a fine pose on a thistle. Excellent DOF and sharp details but personally I don't always like using the flash as it changes the natural colour and this blue is too bright.

A wonderul photo with such great details and colors. The flash illuminated the colors of the b'fly perfectly and also showed its shiny coat. I like the way the color of the b'fly contrast with all the other colors in the photo.

I like this one better then the previous. It is not so dark. Nice colors good composition and good sharpness. Perfect buckground. I like the yellow flower in the corner (there is more light on the photo) on the other hand it could be interesting thing to remowe it (very individaual thing) But as I told you I like the flower ;-)
