Hey Laurent,
what an inspired idea... put a pumpkin up as bird feed. I'll have to try that!
This is a great photo that is full of action.
Superb timing to capture the Great Tit just as he was landing on the pumpkin.
Sharp and crisp, great details aswell.
A striking black BG that works well though the birds' black head is only just visible.
Perfect border.

Hi Laurent,

What timing you had to capture this Chickadee landing on the pumpkin! I love the position of the legs and the fluttering wings. The pumpkin was a fantastic idea. Marvelous colors and excellent details in this wonderful shot.

This is a fantastic idea and I admire your experimentation and with commitment I am sure you will realise your goal..perhaps by go to ISO 800 you may increase your shutter speed to a level which you are looking for...But the picture as it stands is very very good with remarkable clarity and details.

Tu parle d'un essai, il est plutot concluant c'est le moins qu'on puisse dire, avec un peu plus de lumière et une vitesse un peu plus élevée elle aurait été parfaite, la pose est extraordinaire et le focus impeccable, sauf sur les ailes évidemment

Hello Laurent, I love this shot. It works so well as the Tit is pin sharp with nice soft movement in the open wings. Your shutter speed was perfect for this. An intersting image with the Pumpkin. The Tit is perfect with good detail and sharpness, colours are perfect. Wonderful composition.
