I am so happy you posted this image Edith. It has some soft tender qualities. The image passes along in French language, a beautiful poetry of the bird...if it were in English, it would be just another bird, but in French it sounds much more romantic. French is after all a romantic language oui?

belle photo, mise au point parfaite... Jolies couleurs même si le fond côté tête de l'oiseau aurait mérité d'être vert comme à gauche de l'image (un léger décalage du photographe et le tour est joué). On pense (moi compris) trop souvent au sujet principal, et on néglige parfois l'arrière plan: le vert aurait mieux contrasté avec le rouge de l'oiseau (plutôt qu'un marron pas très heureux). Et puisque je suis lancé, la tête de l'oiseau est pile au centre de l'image (mise au point plus facile au centre j'en suis conscient). Donner un peu de champ dans la direction du regard de l'oiseau donne un peu de dynamique à l'image.
Tout ca n'est affaire que de goût.
En espérant ne pas vous avoir froissé

A splendid close-up shot of this very cute robin from you!
I really the way you set this photo really. It's very sharp - with excellent details on the entire bird - very well composed - with plenty of room in the direction the Robin is looking in - and also very well illuminated by the fill-in flash.
Using a flash is quite difficult in such captres really because it might create that unwanted black BG, but here you managed it beautifully by still keeping good details and colors everywhere.

this is a wow of a shot..so sharp but only where it counts..on the robin

pas mal du tout,et je t'envie enfin plutot ton marie!moi il ne viennent pas chez moi mais ce matin je suis allé faire du vtt avec mon frangin qui a cassé sa patte de derailleur et pendant qu'il reparait il y a une de ces petites boules de poils qui nous tournait autour,il se possait a moins de deux metres de nous comme pour defendre son territoire.
bravo.(juste un petit passage dans neatimage en passant par PS CS2 et en selectionnant juste le BG pour le rendre plus flou,enfin il y a un rien de bruit)
