What a great in every aspect shot. All is fantastic. Pose of image of the heron. It is brilliant, expressive, perfectly sharpened with plenty details. Scenery is amazing both GF and BG. Superb selection of the DOF. Composition is also spot on. Bravo. Unique, wonderful picture. My compliments.

The whole scene is amazing...Your plane of focus is spot on giving a superb bg and fg flecked with spring flowers..The subject itself is in a great pose and so sharp..very good exposure management..Plenty of space to the right of the Heron giving him somewhere to look into.

Oui, il a l'air drôle ton héron avec son regard curieux et à l'affût d'une proie.Image très nature. Contente de voir que tu nous reviens. Moi-même j'étais aussi très peu sur TN cette année, car j'ai eu des ennuis avec mon PC.

PS le concours de Saron, je viens seulement de réaliser qu'il y en a eu un, je ne suis pas passé sur TN depuis un bon mois, aijourd'hui j'ai fait un tour de vélo et vu plein de photographes... du coup je suis passé à la salle des fête (expo de photos), il n'y a pas beaucoup de photographes apparemment, en tout cas exposés, (tu y as participé au concours?)

I missed this fine image of a Grey Heron hunting. The lighting and sharpness are superb and the pose with the stretched out neck excellent as seen from this POV and set in this composition among the vegetation.
