[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was thinking of the troops landing somewhere there at World War II, and of all the consequent massacre that took place between the opponents. This was contradicting with the peaceful landscape I was staring at. Nothing could remind of the past. Present was keeping its silence, holding its secrets veiled for ever...

Κοίταζα το τοπίο και σκεφτόμουν. Κάπου εκεί έγινε η Απόβαση της Νορμανδίας στον Δεύτερο Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο. Άνθρωποι πολέμαγαν μ' ανθρώπους, βίαια, κτηνωδώς, λυσσαλέα.
Και τώρα, ησυχία. Τίποτα δε θυμίζει το παρελθόν. Το παρόν κρατά μια σιωπή μυστηριώδη για τα περασμένα, με το πέπλο του να καλύπτει μυστικά για πάντα. Και τη θάλασσα να καθαρίζει αθέατες πληγές...

A nice capture of a historic place! I like your composition with emphasis on the diagonal shoreline... However I think you have a visible CCW tilt, please se my workshop for correction

Es cierto, es un lugar tranquilo, cuesta creer que se halla desarrollado allí semejante batalla. De la foto pienso que se ve el mar un poco inclinado y que le falta un poquito de luz.
