Hallo Gerard
A beautiful wide opened flower with clear details of the rounded pink anthers. A delightful view with fine details to appreciate. The colour of the flower's petals are very soft to the eye. I really like the simple composition with only a few specs of other colours in between. A lovely close-up which I enjoyed looking at. In my personal opinion the speciality of this photo is the simplicity of the shot. Thanks for sharing and have a most enjoyable day.

Bonjour Gerard,

Your composition of the flowers gets better and better. This is beautiful with the stem positioned on a diagonal from bottom/right, leading to the focal point of the flower which is sharply focused and softly lit.
Excellent dof to keep the b/g oof and undistracting.

Well composed and good color tone!
I had a look at your gallery. You are keeping many wonderful pictures and I have chosen this picture, because it was seen the loveliest image.
I like total color balance keeping the brightness as well as this lovely and elegant flower with red/pink color in the middle, and blurred flower of the background gives good effect in the whole.
