Le crabe violoniste (Uca pugilator) est appelé ainsi à cause de l'énorme pince du mâle. On l'appel aussi crabe "cé ma faute" . Cette pince est longue de 10 centimètres et son autre pince ne mesure que 2.5 centimètres. La femelle ne possède pas cette pince démesurée qui sert aux mâles à se livrent bataille devant une femelle pour la parade. Le gagnant s'accouple alors avec la femelle.
Le crabe violoniste se nourrit de cadavres et de plantes en décomposition.
The crab violonist (Uca pugilator) is called thus because of the enormous grip of the male. One it call also crab "Cé ma faute". This grip is long 10 centimetres and its other grip measures only 2.5 centimetres. The female does not have this disproportionate grip which is used for the males for fight battle in front of a female for the parade. Gaining couples itself then with the female.
The crab violonist nourishes corpses and plants in decomposition. |

Crabs are not very popular here on TN so at first - many thanks for showing something new and non-commercial :)
