There's becoming a small TN group of wide angle advocates. I have the same lens and really must do more with it. This is a great subject for that lens and you handled the tech stuff really well. I'm not a huge fan of super slow shutter speeds for moving water. l'm more a naturalist. If it is the effect your were after however, you did it very well.
