The flower

Carlina corymbosa - Linneae, 1753.

Plant of the Asteraceae family, erected, with alternate leaves very thorny. The inflorescences are yellow flower heads grouped in corymbs, hence the name of the plant.

The bracts of the involucre are a feature of the plant: golden yellow glow, they are spread in a star and is larger than that of the surrendered himself.

The picture

The image was taken with a camera fuji finepix s602 zoom mode aperture priority. With a choice of opening F/11 (to obtain a sufficient depth of field) and a sensitivity equivalent to ISO-400, a length of 8 mm, the speed was 1 / 600 th of a second.
