| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This is a blue and gold macaw (Ara araraura). I have seen them flying high over riverside forests in Brazil and Bolivia. They are certainly among the most colorful and raucous birds on earth. This poor guy is out of place...for sale in a French pet shop. He belongs in the wild, but so long as stupid people want to make "pets" of macaws, and the law doesn't prohibit such madness, they'll be on the market, at up to 700€ a piece! |

wonderful picture! you caught an extraordinary angle is what one can call a pose "design."
The advantage, however, of existing people (stupid) that want to have "pets" a lot of times can save them..... other so many times êles are battered in the own origin place

Hi Michael, how's it going?
That's a very nice shot you've presented here, Michael. Very colorful: looks very neutral on my screen! Some very nice detail in the plumage. Well framed.
Well done, TFS!
Best regards, Dimitri.

Hi Michael.
Stunning close-up. I like creative cropping a lot. It is great. Terrific bright colours and sharpness/details. Bravo.
Alexei.
Hi Michael,
Nice picture but could have been much better by focusing on the eye...
