The details and textures on it are outstanding and the fact that you managed to keep all his body in full focus is amazing! ongatulations for such a superb camera work!
I'm guessing you used flash for this one...either way, the lighting is also impeccable here.

Je n'avais jamais réalisé que vous aviez des scorpions en France. Est-il venimeux? C'est une très belle photo de cet animal que nous ne voyons pas souvent. J'aime bien sa pose, les détails et la prise de vue. J'ai eu la chance de tenir dans mes mains, un scorpion noir récemment... Une expérience que je ne suis pas prête d'oublier! Merci,

Very nice clos-up of this poisonous invertebrate. I like this picture a lot. Typical scorpion pose, great details, Pov and colours.
On the other hand when you noted that it is a bigger scorpion in France (in Europe too?) it would be nice to know its size :>

Bonjour Emmanuel.
La mise au point a été bien faite.
C'est une belle bête que voilà. J'ai eu l'occasion d'en trouver 2-3 quand j'étais adolescent et que je passais mes vaccances à Gruissan, près de narbonne. Ce scorpion n'a rien à voir avec notre scorpion méditéranéen qui est beaucoup plus petit et inoffensif. Celui que l'on voit ici a colonisé cette région grace aux cargos de fruits provenant d'afrique d'après un article que j'avais lu à l'époque dans le magasine géo. Je suis étonné de voir qu'il y en a aussi du coté des maures. C'est une véritable colonisation.

Sympa de voir un scorpion languedocien vivant: j'en avais un sec dans un tiroir pendant des annees. Il a ete reduit en poussiere d'un seul coup par une attaque de petites betes.
Bonne POV et proondeur de champs.
Tres detaille.
Petit defauts pas tres importants:
- la terre remone devant et cache le bout des pattes.
- une brindille flou passe devant.
