I saw these flowers on the slopes of the Tournette towards 1800m of altitude. The fly gives an idea of the small size of these Yellow Saxifrages.
---
Scientific name : Saxifraga Aizoide - Family : Saxifragaceae - Protected flower.
---
We can find these yellow flowers in Alps mountains up to 2800m altitude, from June to September.
---
Cropped and framed in 800x600 for TN.
I hope that you will like these small flowers in spite of the average quality of this macro which was one of my first tests...

Nice shot Christian,
Nice colourful flowers, I like the water droplets. A great shot with the added bonus of a well detailed fly.
Well captured, Thanks for posting

Hi Christian think I have an Ident for you Saxifraga sedoides (Eastern Saxifrage)
Nicely captured, a lttle bit of sharpening would help to harden up the edges a litle so make it look more in focus. TFS

Hello Christian, nice view of these flowers and the fly is a good touch too. There is some noise in the BG but it's not too bad. Very well done.

Hi Christian, nice vibrant colour and the bonus fly is good, as has already been said it is a little noisy in the background and a little touch of sharpening would help. A nice shot though.

Poste sympa. Bonne netteté et jolies couleurs. Un cadrage un peu plus serré et moins centré pourrait être une variante.
Salutations.
Toni

Christian, A nice macro on this scene. I agree with Robb that a little more sharpening might help. The colors are great, and excellent detail on the fly.

Runnin' late..I looked ;-)

Nice picture Christian.
It's some noise and it's a little soft but I like this one.
Good composition and colours.
Well done.

Hi Christian, good idea to shoot the flower with the fly for comparison. Nice colors and a good note. A bit noisy but not very disturbing.
Thanks for sharing.

Nice composition, but a bit noisy and a closer view would have been better.
TFS.

Christian, this is indeed a colorful shot. The fly is a nice extra. Maybe the Blur Tool on the background would eliminate the little noise.
