Goegeous specimens! The white one is very interesting, it looks like snow or sorbet. Fascinating work Christian, you continue to excel.

Christian, both these fungi are very unique. I have never seen anything like it. These are the type of posts I like the most. Things I have never seen before. Great capture and suportive note. TFS.

Avec de si belles photos et des notes instructives, tu es en train de me donner le goût de capter des champignons. Mais l'hiver approche ici. Il y a eu du gel au sol la nuit dernière.

WOW, to find this two together with this composition must be very nice, and double work for identification too!! I have never seen them around here.
Maybe the whites textures could be more descriptive, though I know it must be hard work to level this one.
Thanks for posting.

HI Taz
The white looks like an ices shelf, the combination of the colours looks palatable. Very nice and smooth colours.

A very good shot.
Great composition and excellent detail.
Very unusual fungi,I've not seen these before.
Great work,well done.

How strange! How wierd looking this is! The white mushroom looks very much like snow with the tops wind-blown! Good image quality but this one should get 20 pts just for its odd & different look! Very interesting looking stuff here!

I have never sen a setting like this and I love it. It almost looks like a candy advert.

The image is sharp and the DOF excellent.

Thanks for posting

Amazing to get two great fungi like this. I shot a white fungus like this in the NZ forest a few weeks ago.but didn't know what it was.I'll post it soon.
Great photo!
