A bee charged with pollen on a dandelion...

---

The bee is a common insect of the family of the hymenopterae. She is known for her honey but also for her beewax.
This honey it manufactures it starting from the nectar which it will recover on the flowers. A bee goes only on very generous flowers in nectar, it is necessary indeed at least sugar 17% for him so that it condescends to collect.
It can even go until close to 4km of its hive.

---

Common name : Dandelion. Scientifique name : Taraxacum officinale. Family : Asteraceae.

The dandelion is a common plant in the world. It is eaten out of salad and it has diuretic properties...

Good one! I like strong yellow pollen on the bee and very good sharpness.

Very good Christian.
I hope the bee is'nt allergic to pollen.
Very nice colours and good details.

Impecable composicion de colores Christian... el amarillo de la flor, del polen y de las bandas de la abeja haciendo juego, como en la mejor alta costura francesa.
Buena agudeza, agradable POV y DOF.

Two beautiful specimens nicely juxtaposed here in the frame, Taz. That bee is "drowning" in the pollen.

Lovely macro!! Loaded with pollen!!
