Spectacle étonnant ce matin dans notre village. Des centaines d'hirondelles s'étaient installées sur les fils éléctriques formant de véritables colliers d'hirondelles sur le fond sombre de la forêt. Elles sont restées environ deux heures avant de s'envoler, emportant l'été avec elles.

An unusual spectacle in our village this morning. Hundreds of swallows had gathered on the electric lines forming veritable swallow necklaces against the dark background of the forest. They stayed around for about two hours before taking flight. With them went the last of the summer.
