[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I didn’t publish nothing for some days.

Today I’m posting a special shot: my grandfather is very ill and my beloved father and my aunt (his children) are caring for him. There is no hope to save him, and at his age we don’t have any desire to extend his pains.
We have, we all have the only wish that he could end his life within his family, in peace and quietly.
It is my, our only desire to see him leave this earth without suffering, if possible.
I know that it is a sad post, I do it on TE, TL & TN, but I had a single wish: to see him at home, with his relatives and his friends, without the anxiety to be in a hospital, surrounded by strangers ready to do “something more” for his health.
He is a piece of my childhood, with his character and his hidden love for his nephews and nieces, his “tales” about the last century and his difficult life in the second war.
He is my last living grandparent, of four great loved persons.
I feel the loss of all them so much, they were so important in my growing up.
I had a hole in my heart thinking of them. But I cannot do nothing, I can only be near to my father that is missing his father, and I am so sad.
I post this shot with a hope: he will have a sweet journey, everywhere he has to go.
Dedicated my last grandfather, and to all my grandparents already arrived at destination…..

Bonsoir Violetta

Félicitation pour cette belle prise de vue avec ce superbe paysage .On voudrait se trouver a cet endroit de rêve.Il y a de très belles couleurs et une jolie composition.
Merci et au revoir ....JP

Such a deep blue color to the lake and surrounded by ironically, mountains which appear so desolate. A nice contradiction in photo. Well presented.

Bob

Hi Violetta,
A very sad but also a very beautiful and heart-felt note...Life is a wonderful journey filled with hopes and dreams for the future and cherished memories and sad regrets of the past. As we age and time on Earth becomes short, our thoughts become more focused on our accomplishments and the peoples lives we have touched and whose lives have touched ours. Reading your note, your past notes and veiwing your photos, I can see that your Grandfather has been a very positive influence and cherished part of your life. I'm also certain that the love and respect you feel for nature and the planet brings great happiness and peace to your Grandfather's heart. So be at peace knowing that you and he share many wonderful memories and that you bring joy into his recollections of the past...And that he feels proud, rightfully so, as he sees his hopes and dreams continued in you...So as your Grandfather passes, he becomes one of your fondest memories and he lives on in the beauty of your hopes and dreams...I know you feel heartbroken over your loss but find tranquility in knowing you have brought peace and harmony into your Grandfather's heart. Be well little one and always remember, "To be without hope is to deny all the wonderful posibilities of the future." Ciao

P.S., A beautiful photo...

Violetta, there's a calm in this image which suits your mood.
It's also an excellent image to celebrate a life and if your Grandfather was half as passionate about the mountains as you, then I'm sure he would approve.
Tonight I will drink a toast to celebrate your Grandfather's life.

Gary
