I took this photo there is hardly 1/2 the hour, in my garden, by going of a long stroll into wood of more than 3 hours... as which, not need to make kilometres to take an attractive photo:o)

bonjour didier
bravo pour ce cliché ,je le trouve tres bien tant au niveau des details de la tête mais ausi pour la netteté generale.
pour son ID je pense a celui-ci .

This is a Cabbage White, Didier. I know because I shot some and posted them here on TN after establishing their ID.
Very good image with perfect details and colours on the wings; mine were a bit washed out in one image with a similar posture of the insect.
Great POV, DOF and composition.

Te voilà aussi chasseur de papillons! Très beau portrait de la piéride du chou avec sa petite tête tournée vers le soleil. (J'en ai aussi vue une aujourd'hui, mais je n'ai pas pu la photographier).
