Hello Matt
un paysage exceptionnel. Pour qui comme moi qu'il a déjà été sur ces montagnes c'est toujours un'émotion les revoir. Beau le jeu de lumières et d'ombres comme pures les couleurs, pas faciles de ritraiter à ces altitudes. Excellentes les nuances souples du ciel qui se profile sur ces grandioses montagnes.

How nice to walk on New Year's Day! I wish I could be there to join the trek.

I am impressed with the wide angle view of this landscape and the light is simply superb at f/25 to have that starry effect on the sun halo.

Even with the sun up at this height, you have captured the mist very nicely to show the superb view of this scenery.

A feeling of above the clouds.

Very balanced light+shadow effect, even with a bit of shadow at the top left of the sky, the mood is great.

Bonjour Matt !
Quel paysage de rêve, avec cette mer de nuages à vos pieds ! Wow ! Je suis épatée, en toute honnêteté. La composition de l'image est merveilleuse, tout comme ce soleil au milieu du ciel, et les couleurs très naturelles (j'adore ce jaune pâle et délicat à l'horizon). Ce devait être un grand moment pour vous. Merci de nous le faire partager.

really cool (excuse the pun) and interesting shot. From this shot it looks like you could quite easily accidentily walk off the edge off the cliff!
I also really like the sun beams, overall a very nice shot.
