Today another picture from 1982 and are taken at Lac dÁnnecy.
I don't know on witch mountain this picture are taken but I am standing above the clouds.
This are an scan from an 4,5 x 6 cm dia and taken by my Zenza Bronica.
We had in that vacation very bad weather each day with much rain and heavy cloudy days.
So we went after a few days back to Holland and we are on a camping there and we are totally rained away and lost the tent.

Lake Annecy (French Lac d'Annecy) is a lake in Haute-Savoie in France.

It is the second largest lake in France, after lac du Bourget, except for the French part of lac Léman (Lake Geneva). It is known as "Europe's cleanest lake" because of strict environmental regulations introduced in the 1960s. It is a popular tourist destination known for its swimming and water sports.

The lake was formed about 18,000 years ago at the time the large alpine glaciers. It is fed by many small rivers from the surrounding mountains (Ire, Eau morte, Laudon, Bornette and Biolon), and from a powerful underwater source, the Boubioz, which enters at 82 m depth.

Hi Gert,
a place i know well. I have stayed here before a few times many years ago. I think this is from the mountain called La Tournette. Not bad quality from a scanned slide, a well chosen POV too. Thanks for bringing back some memories for me!

Hi Gert,

A beautiful scene from your vantage point high up on the mountain. The composition is wonderful with the trees framing the land and lake below. Very good quality from a scanned slide.

The bad air looks like it might contain some particulate matter as does our polluted air..is there some place nearby where industry is being done..within say 200-300 miles? A fine image of bad weather in a beautiful place?
