Nice angle, good detail. Flash has made the image sort of flat. Either move the flash off camera to either side or use a reflector of some sort to bounce some of the light from the left under and behind the mushrooms.

Hi Dianora,
Your nice, flaming fungus picture caught my attention this morning. But I agree with Wally about the problems arising from using the flash in situations like this unless you've got a dismountable/external flash. So it was a challenge to me to try to reduce the negative effects of the flash to some extent in order to salvage your very eye-catching picture, which also threw me into doubting as to whether it's not sooner the P. flammans (an epithet which more aptly matches your somewhat extravagantly fiery original) than the P. squarrosa - perhaps extramundi or some other knowledgeable TN friend will turn up today and put the matter straight for us. Thank you very much for a clear, sharp and attractive species illustration!

Hola Dianora y bienvenida a TN... una interesante captura de estas setas tan bonitas por su aspecto y colorido.
Me agrada el punto de vista captado bien bajo con apropiado encuadre e iluminación que brinda buenos detalles de los especímenes.
Tal vez el punto débil es la combinación de la asistencia del flash y la lenta exposición que genera un foco algo soft a la imagen.
De todas formas, es una composición realmente muy bonita... gracias por compartirla.

Creo que tecnicamente ya se ha dicho lo que pienso, asi que no me voy a repetir, si le hubieras bajadoun poco la saturación en amarillos creo que hubiera mejorado. Es un grupo de Pholiotas muy atractivo, sacado con una gran profundidad de campo y buen punto de vista.
