Originally , I wouldn't shoot this one but my mother told me it would be OK.
Thanks to the macro mode of the Ixus I , we can observe the stamens which seem to explode from the flower.
By the way , I don't the name of this plant ... |

I love your photo, flowers are beautifull enough on their own not to need something else to enhance them (sorry Marhowie...smile)
I like the contrast and color of your composition...well done!
This is a pretty shot. The DOF isn't perfect but it gives it a nice three dimensional effect.
