Hello Achim!
As for the first view this is a picture with a couple of dead tree and a lot of sand, but when we look at it much more carrefully we will see the history of this place. I like composition of this photo and light.
By the way, tahnks you for showing this dune area, I did not know that such places are in Western France :)

this is a superb image that deserves more attention. It has a very graphical quality to it, and your POV is very well chosen. Good use of the backlight to create those impressive silloettes too...great work!
