hello has all.
of return of holidays I present this squirrel to you not very savage and accustomed has to come this to be useful in the mangers from the camp-site for then hiding its catch under the spines of pine.

The Russet-red Squirrel. Sciurus vulgarie
Sciuridae family.
Order rodents.
Length 18 to 25 cm.
Weight 200 to 350 G.
Peeling of yellowish with russet-red, brown dark with the black, below white.
Longevity 6 to 7 years.
Description bulky Tail.
Biology.
The peeling of the Russet-red Squirrel is of variable color: the yellowish one and the russet-red one with brown dark and the black in summer. In winter, it is brown more or less dark top. The lower part is white in all seasons. In France, the dark subjects are more frequent in mountain and in the forests of coniferous tree. In winter, it has long tufts of hairs at the end of the ears. The tail is very bulky. One distinguished to 40 subspecies, (some are not valid), which present 2 or even 3 forms (russet-red, brown, black). Various colourings can be observed in the same area and do not correspond to local subspecies. The reproductive males have the skin of the scrotum naked, dark, tinted of orange yellow. The subadultes have white ventral peeling. The females have the naked and inflated udders. The spring moult lasts approximately 6 weeks.

Welcome back from your holiday. Nice shot on this Russet-red Squirrel. He really lives up to his name with that coloring in the fur. Nice sharp detail and a cute pose. Looks good.
