the DEFINITIVE portrait of the often presented Vanessa cardui! Absolutely superb, the light from the side, revealing the sculpture of the wing surface. The flower it sits on is covered, this eliminates a possible conflict of colors and showiness between butterfly and flower. The dark green background adds to the high quality of the shot. The note could be a little more detailed.

How I could pass this charming picture. I do not know. Simply amazing scene at whole and stunning reproduction of all charming features of the Vanessa. Colours and blurriness of the BG as well as reproduction of the plant are superb too. Bravo. Perfect job.
