nice expression on the bird great orange eye. i'd darken the top of the birds head a bit to counteract what looks like a bit of a bright reflection.

A very good portrait of this demoiselle crane, Jerome.
Focus and exposure are good.
The color contrast between the black and the white is stunning.
I love those white feathers that curl forward.
