Excellent capture, with beautiful composition, colors and framing. Good patience and approach. With a lower speed (1/2500 is not need when the dragonfly is resting), you could have more depth and details on the wings. Good evening,

What a superb capture of the dragonfly with great details. The sharpness and POV are perfect with nice use of the shallow DOF. The wings are beautifully shown as well as thorax part of the insect. Wonderful colors are shown indeed. The blurry BG is perfect.

You have well taken your first chaser. What pleases me the most is the fine color-combination green and blue. Also the composition is beautiful. May be the sharpness on the eyes could have been a tiny better. But all in all a beautiful shot.

A great capture of a male L. depressa, especially as its your first! The POV, composition, sharpness and BG are all excellent to make thhis an excellent portrait of this chaser, that should inspire you to take more dragonfly shots!
