| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Sorry for the quality of this picture, maybe sharp only on the butterfly wings, and not in the rest, like on the antenna or on the head. But, I had no other chance to take another shoot: my battery run down. Uselessly I tried to warm the battery in my hand, to keep it in the sun, to prey! Did not work. And the buttlerfly stayed there, waiting to be photographed. Before to this picture, I took many to that Ophris orchid.
So, an advise: be sure that your battery is charged before you go somewhere, even in a work-trip. You can have nice chances to take wanderful picture with the world around.
I will search for the butterfly name. |

Salut Oana,
Frumoasa captura. Si intentia se premiaza.
Decit sa ratezi toata captura ... este bine si asa.
Cui nu-i place sa nu se uite, nu ?
O seara frumoasa,
Adrian

Hi Oana,
A nice capture of this beautiful moth most probably a brunet moth.
Thanks a lot for sharing.
Hi Oana,
Nice colors and placement in the frame, I like the BG too..
Perhaps a bit soft focused, but nobody said macro was easy ;-)
Good work.

Hello Oana !
I didn't know you were in France this year ! And I'm happy you could bring out some pictures from there. You say the quality is not so good, and maybe yes, because the focus was not on the head and so the head is blurred, but the picture still looks pretty. The natural colors and the vertical composition work well, and we can clearly see the shape and the color of the spots - I would say it is "Zygaena trifolii", or Fice-Spot Burnet Moth, but I'm not 100 % sure about it.
Well done !
Valérie.
