[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another of the portraits of the Peacocks I saw at the Chateau de la Boubansais. The colours on these large birds are really stunning. I just would not like them living near me as they are so noisy.
Camera settings: - ISO 200, AV, Spot metering, 400mm focal length. Hand held.

hi Peter,
très joli portrait bleu sur bg gris. Les détails sont nombreux et fins, c'est très bon.
Dommage que le flou en PP soit manqué sur la doite :(

Hi Peter,
Nice image, well composed.
If you compare your 100-400Lzoom to your 400mmL 2,8fixed...what is your experience? Concerning sharpness, resolution?

Hi Peter, I thought I should look through your earlier shots and found this. It is ultra superb in focus, clarity and detail. These birds do 'bob' their heads a lot and getting a pristine sharp images such as this is difficult. The light and colorus on the plumage is excellent. Lovely portrait and great cmposition.
