There are lot of these birds in Guadeloupe.
You put some sugar in this 1/2 coconut, you wait 20 seconds and birds come and come again !
You can shot them easily with 3-4 meters of distance... But be carefull : your movement must be slow, otherwise all birds take of in same time and disappear like a flash...

Hand held taken, with internal flash to fix the bird.

God it's such a beautiful shot.

Is he/she swooshing down or swooshing up,one can see his legs facing up and head turned to the other side?Apparently you really had to work quite hard on getting the timing right.

Love the way you got those wings in motion.
