the Purple-edged Copper, Lycaena hippothoe. In French, le Cuivré écarlate or "Scarlet Copper". A lucky shot if there is one, as the weather was quite windy that day, at the very top of the Puy-de-Dome peak (altitude 1465 m), and this male stayed put just long enough for this single picture. The caterpillar feeds on Rumex sp.

I like the macro Phillipe.
The composition is for me not a succes, because I believe this can be done much better, but ofcoarse that whole personal. It's a little overlighted thats a fact for me, Farther you did a nice job and ofcoarse it's a learning proces. farther good job

Nice picture with very good composition, you blew up again the white tones, the butterfly is well exposed, the little green bush at the left is little bit distracting.

Hi Philippe, nice colourful picture. Not a species that I have seen or heard of before. Very nice all round although a little overexposed on the flowers. Good work.
