That is a very true comment you posted :-).
Very unique moment! And a nice composition as well. I'm not familiar with your camera and lens, But if you are able to use a 100mm or higher (Macrolens), the DOF will become stronger. Sometimes the background even becomes unrecognisable and your subject will come out even more. BTW I really like the light shining through the wings. My compliments, Arjuna.

C'est une superbe capture de ce moment intime :) Ce qui m'impressione le plus, c'est de la façon dont tu as réussis à calibrer cette photo avec une lumière si difficile. La composition est originale, bravo!

Pas mal ton image..et avoir deux machaons, c'est pas si courant. L'angle de vue est intéressant, je me serais éventuellement déplacée un peu pour avoir un arrière-plan plus uni, car la tache de lumière à l'arrière, distrait quelque peu l'oeil.
