Le phlomis lychnitis est une très belle espèce labiée, qui caractérise les pelouses sèches et les garrigues arides de la région méditerranéenne. Son aire de répartition se limite à la France et à l'Espagne. Dans le reste du bassin méditerranéen, d'autres espèces de Phlomis occupent des milieux similaires.

Hello Herve,
Very beautiful close-up of the flowers of Phlomis. Sharp details of the texture of the petals and lovely natural colour. Very nicely compossed too.
