[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
after the hussart on the roof here the hornet on my velux (window?), finally I believe that it is a hornet...

according to wikipedia they are largest the species European wasps: the queen reaches up to 35 mm, the workers make from 18 to 25 mm and the bumblebees from 21 to 28mm. Yellow and black rings on the abdomen, the head being able to raise an orange red color...

what is odd it is that I have the impression that it was larger than 35mm, I would have believed in the 60mm but that must be my glasses which enlarge what I see or then I do not have the notion of dimensions !!!

Jonarthan, the picture has little darkness and may be you need to do some work on contrast and brightness. But the technical details are good. TFS Ganesh

Hi Jon,
This is a very nice in-flight macro! Extrodinary details, especially the tiny hairs and detail on feet. Very nice work. The only thing is I think it is a little dark.
PS: Jon, I added a workshop to adjust the contrast and exposure. I'm still learning.
Ken
