a very clear, sharp and brilliant picture of this delicate fly. Composition, colours and light are perfect. I like pictures not only of colourful butterflies but in particular also of at a first glane non-spectacular insects which are not soften shown. So, thank you for posting!

This is such a stunning detailed macro shot of the Dance Fly.

I cant believe it was shot under a grey sky.Perhaps the bright coour of the flower has been a boon.The lighting looks perfect and the PoV is excellent.
