L'ophrys splendide est une orchidée endémique du sud-est de la France. Elle se rencontre dans des situtations éclairées (pelouses sèches, clairières et lisières de bois clairs). La marge jaune du labelle, les pétales bicolores et la macule bordée de blanc sont des caractéristiques qui permettent de reconnaitre facilement cette espèce.

A really beautiful photo of a wonderful wild orchid. You got some great details in the entire flower and combined it with a excellent DOF that gave you a great colored BG. Personally, I would have taken away the dandelion seed and tried a slightly smaller aperture.

Bonjour Herve,
you have done a great job with the macro lens. Very sharp and great in colours. The pink petals might come out better if a little more underexposed.

Nice image of this wonderful orchid Herve.
Color tones and matching colors in the BG are very nice.
The image just gould use a little more saturation and sharpness.

Great macro of this unknow species to me. I seems an Ophrys from "Spheghodes group" like O. incubacea, O. catalunica, O. castellana etc.
