Hi Laurent,
This photo needs a warning. Do not watch if you have just eaten. This really looks like a scary monster. Its a wonderful macro with fine details and stunning colors. I find the light a little bit harsh, but it also illuminated some of the darker parts. I am amazed how close you were able to get.

A great macro capture with excellent light. Only nit (though marginal) is the flash, that seems a bit strong fro the task.
The Tokina however delivered flawlessly.

What a beauty and detailed close-up! I can easy see all ommatidia in the damselfly eyes! fantastic macro!
On the other hand some flash reflection would be reduced a little :> Anyway, very nice work!

Very interesting camera settings for this close-up macro of a damselfly's face, Laurent.
The finer details on the eyes have been well captured though fill flash has created some points of harsh reflections here and there.
On the whole, it is a very good macro image.
