| This is the Pyla dune. This impressive hill of sand is formed in the french southwest coast, near Bordeaux. It appears suddendy and there is nothing like it again. You can see the forest way down, and once you get to the top you see the Atlantic ocean. With this photo I tried to protrait the magnitude of it. |

Wow is the sand dune on the move? It looks like it is swallowing the forest. Interesting POV.
Bizarre geography/geology- not what normally comes to mind when someone mentions France. A very unusual and interesting part of the photo is the ruler-like straightness of the diagonal line of the foreground slope against the background. That is one of the best illustrations of angle of repose I've ever seen.
