Large red slug, Arion rufus

Slug is mollusc gastropodous of family of arionidae which measures from 1 to 15 cm, which meets in the wet places, very frequent in under wood. It has four tentacles including two which has eyes, the others are used to collect the odors and are sensitive to the tastes. It is omnivorous, hermaphrodite and lays her eggs a little everywhere, in the ground, under a stone, in the crack of a bark.

Wow to this shot,well done.I never seen this animal.Great colors and frame.

Elles si frequentes avant se rarefient a Montmoreau. Depuis 2-3 ans on voit les grises et les noires a la place.
Belle photo. Une remarque cependant: il est souvent preferable de photographier horizontalement pour donner de la perspective a la photo.
