Eurasian Jay
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French] |
I took this photograph through the pane of the gate of input because
this bird is very timorous.
Identification: The geai of the oaks is recognizable between all by
its plumage variegated with the colors sharp. Even remotely, the
association of the tone lights and dark always attracts the eye. The
back is brown rosy, the white tail, the black tail but the most
remarkable part of its plumage is composed of the blue wing covers
striated with black and white. The chest is beige rosy, the head whose
feathers of top can be roughcast in a round huppe is gray and black.
The short and rectilinear nozzle is underlined by thick black
moustache. There is no sexual dimorphism. Males and females are
strictly similar.
Command: Passeriformes
Family: Corvidés
Scientific name: Garrulus glandarius
Biometrics: Cut: 34 cm Scale: Weight: 140 to 190 G Longevity:
18 years
Distribution: Species presents in France at the wild state.
Statute: migrating sedentary nichor wintering. |

Bonjour Max,
