Hi nice shot
very well focused and good colours
maybe you had zoom more then we could see more of the beatifull insect
But I know it´s really difficult to take a picture like that

pas évident de prendre une libellule en vol quant on connait la vitesse de leur vol, belle prise et le mouvement des ailes est génial, excellent travail ce n'est pas la peine d'acheter le mark IIIIII

Here I am...:-)
From your two in flight dragonflies I prefer this one; I'm not a seasoned in flight dragonfly photographer so I can only critique your image to a certain extent. I think the target must be: body sharp and blurred wings. The POV here is difficult and you did need a lot of DOF...
Nevertheless you managed very well; I like the blurred wings and the coloured background as well.

Bonjour cher Aleks, bien sur que si j'ai vu ton 2eme essais mais je n'avais plus de point a te donner et je ne voulais pas te laisser une critique sans une appréciation verte foncée.
En effet je trouver ce 2 ème shot bien réussi, avec une mise au point pas si approximative que ca, surtout en manuel !!!
la DOF est beaucoup plus importante que sur ton premier essais, je trouve que c'est une photo bien réussie
un seul regret c'est de ne pas voir les données de l'appareil

Great shot of an extremely difficult subject matter. Quite a difficult one to get the composition right, and I'm not sure I'd have known where to start. However, this works really well so you must have got it right.

Pretty good capture of Aeshna in flight. I like the shape of the wings and the colours are fine. Sharpness could be better and I find the background too busy in colours. A good try though.

I think "WOW!" pretty much somes that one up! Your DOF is excellent and i can't the fact that it's in flight makes it all the more amazing! TFS!
