Pas si facile que ça ce genre de prise, même si tu trouves qu'elle est trop bruité cela reste une prise très respectable. Difficile de commenter sans l'exif.

A valiant attempt at what is a very difficult subject to capture..you have got great detail in the face but unfortunately your shutter speed was to low to capture the wings.
Did you try ai servo instead of manual focus? I have the 30d and find it works very well if you use all the af points.

Good attempt. I have also tried it a couple of times, but had failed miserably. :) You have been able to capture the head and body with good sharpness.The head is in good focus with very good details. About the wings,being an action shot, i think the movement of the wings gives it a more natural look. I tried to remove the noise using Neat image. I hope you won't mind it.Complements on a good capture.

i found it really very difficult shooting a flying bird or insect, you got flying dragonfly, liked the composition and the pov, the upper body part has good sharpness, the wings look nice,

Hello lens a good composition with nice focus/detail would try AIservo to make it easier 30D should cope ok I tried a 30D with AI and worked well. Nice exposure and light tfs rgds Necip.

oui on ne va pas te dire le contraire, il y a du bruit mais un petit passage dans neat image te le supprimerai vite.
toutefois malgré que la libellule soit loin donc petite, il y a la tête qui a de bonnnes couleurs.
allez la prochaine sera mieux, on l' attends!!

Hi Lens,

Well done; you've got to be really quick to catch these things in flight. I agree with others that you're better of with using AIservo - I guess the light wasn't great as you should have been able go a get a quicker shutter speed at f/6.3 at iso800. If that's the case you have done very well indeed. Nice composition and nice background, and yo9u have captured lots of detail in the Migrant Hawker (I think that's what it is).

Je trouve cette photo un peu bruyante mais ce genre de capture est tellement difficile que je ne meux qu'applaudir.

Despite some noise of the image I welcome use ISO 800. Result is perfect and compensates the noticeable grain. Once more excellent rare in-flight dragonfly shot. I also like the great composition, amazing colors and superb BG. Bravo and TFS.
