Zygaena filipendulae is the most common here (6 red or yellow spots with sometimes stain 5 and 6 more or less merged)

"Zygaena" becomes identified essentially by the previous spots which are in the basic number of 6:

Present 6 spots: Zygaena filipendulae, transalpina, erythus, exulans, sarpedon, achilleae...

-6 spots encircled of yellow or white: Zygaena carniolica...

-6th white spot: Zygaena occitanica

- spot 6 confluente with 5: Zygaena hilaris, fausta...

- Spots 5 and 6 merged: Zygaena filipendula

- spot 6 goes away: Zygaena meliloti, lonicerae, trifolii

Another beautful Clover but with a different visitor! Beautiful composition showing sharp details and fine natural colours. I like the side view and the metallic sheen on Zygaena.

Décidemment les fleurs de trèfle attirent chez-vous de beaux sujets! Reste à les faire ressortir sous leur meilleur jour... ce que tu arrives à faire à la perfection! Des détails superbes. Des couleurs vibrantes. Un arrière plan qui se maie à merveille aux couleurs de des sujets... Une réussite digne d'un talent pour le belles choses!
