Hi Fred
it was quite difficult to decide on which orhid to critque. I love orchids myself and have been known to spend the entire day finding one particular orchid to photograph.
They can be very difficult to photograph espcially when there is even a slight breeze and without a tripod as well you have done very well here. Slightly more DOF would have been nice but I can see from your photo info that you have done everything you can to get a better DOF without a tripod.
